I read and adored the first two books in this series but I put off reading the final one since I didn’t want to say goodbye to Pip and Ravi just yet but I am finally cracking it open. His novels covered all races including English and Indians. A kind of cosmic mysticism is found alleviating the tragic undertones in his novels. At the same time he is also specialist in human absurdity and pettiness. ![]() Most of his novels are filled with his these three characters.įorster is also best known for his liberal humanism as he has taken side in the Indian independence. A strong sense of artistic form is his best literary weapon. He is a follower of the 19th century tradition of high minded religious compassion. It is also then that I realized, despite the mixed reviews, that this is one of those books that I will always remember and look back from time to time. ![]() There were a lot of emotions that I carried with me throughout my reading of it, and they all broke off violently when I reached the end. But eventually, I pushed all my hesitation away and dived straight into it.Īnd guess what? I loved it and I was able to feel so much by the end of the book. I was questioning whether it will be worth the time. Initially, I was quite excited to pick this up but then after reading so many mixed reviews about this one, I became hesitant. The Push is one of those books where there is a lot of hype surrounding it, and it is also for that very reason that I decided to give this book a shot. I suppose I wasn’t ready to be invisible yet.
